STYLE CRUSH: Henry Holland aaaaand...Lady Gaga!

Told you before that I got too carried away with RiRi's fashion TV series "Styled to Rock".
And what happen next?
I AM OBSESS with Nicola and Henry's style.
Like really.
How can they be so stylish everytime?
So I'm here to talk about Henry's fashion style first.
No. I'm not gonna talk about his uhmazing design for House of Holland.
(Well...maybe I'm gonna do that later.)
I'm here to talk about his awesome outfit.
His preppy, edgy, funky, bold, and quirky look that blown me away.
And, ooh, he is such a good mentor for STR contestants.
So friendly and helpful.
(Because I thought everyone in the fashion industry is a bit mean. Hahaha.)
So, here he is.

Name: Henry Holland BA
Occupation: Head Designer for House of Holland
Age: 29
Muse: Nicola Roberts
Key Items: Skinny Pants, Printed Shirt, Fitted Blazer, Geeky Glasses, Bright Socks, Oxford Shoes, and Cool "James Dean Inspired" Hairdo. ;p

Plaid Shirt and Plaid Scarf. Why not?
^^

With one of his many "it girl" friends, Alexa Chung.
What about those leopard shoes?Aaaah.
^^

Only Henry could wear that heart prints blazer.
^^
Red socks and oxford shoes. Sooo...Henry!
^^
Sneakers = DIE!
^^
Dunno why, that shirt's prints looks like "tenun ikat" prints
from Indonesia.
Anyway, the bow tie is definitely add some edge.
^^
With another it girl bestie, Pixie Geldof.
Backstage @ HoH S/S '13.
^^
At FNO 2012.
Love the houndstooth prints!
^^
Covering gay magazine, "Attitude", with his muse, Nicola Roberts.
Weren't those prints dope?
Exactly!
Gotta have it!
^^
With his true bestie, Agyness Deyn.
^^
^^
That shirt is really cool!
^^
Never bored with houndstooth.
^^
^^
Rolled up pants!
^^
Going soft with mint knitted sweater.
^^

And, by the way, I got a bit shock with a "normal" Lady Gaga look today.
Well, this is soo normal in Lady Gaga's dictionary, okay??
And this look is so on trend and really lovely on her.
People said that she gain 12kg recently.
But, I don't see any change at her body at all.
Hey, when you tone it down a bit, it really works, you know.
Sometimes less is more.
I love your style here.
Yesss.

Embracing My Youth with These Movies TV Series and Magazines

Well, I feel obsess with youth movement, rebellious act, and urban fashion kinda things lately.

First of all,
I've started watching RiRi's fashion TV series "Styled to Rock" last week and I got hooked.
Really, the fashion is soo amazing, edgy, funky, quirky, and very.....British.
The contestants and the mentors..aahh..they are oh-so-stylish.
Can you imagine watching the outfit of Henry Holland, Nicola Roberts,  and Lysa Cooper in one scene every week?
It's an eye-pleasure for me, for sure.
And the contestants outfits? Don't ask.
They are all awesome.
I really want them to design me something. Anything. Really.

The super stylish mentors.

I looove the contestants sense of style!!

Jacqueline, Ben, steve, and my fave, Heidi.

With all these kinda urban-ish vibe around, I, then, got obsessed reading this magazine called "COMPANY".
The magazine can really feed your hunger on street fashion stuff.
Yess, what I like about this magazine, is that they respect and fully commit to talk about high-street fashion.
It's not all glamor like Vogue or Elle.
It's also not too  neat like when you read Teen Vogue.
The layout is simple, edgy, and pretty awesome.
And they write a lot about fashion bloggers too.
So, what's not to like, right?
Can't wait for their new "4 covers" high-street edited edition on November 2012.

The newest issue. I want the "pretty punk" one.

To complete the mood, I recently look around for some movies that will probably be a good match with my recent attraction to youth culture.
I am still desperately waiting for "The Perks of being a Wallflower" to be shown in Indonesian theaters, like... SOON.

I also want to watch some movies like  Pitch Perfect, Ruby Sparks, Seeking a Friend for The End of The World, Damsel in Distress, and On The Road (not for Kristen Stewart though, it's more like for Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst)

Adam Brody and ANTM alumn, Analeigh Tipton, make me curious.
Don't know why. But I love Kiera's nerdy clothes here.

Paul Dano + director of Little Miss Sunshine = Bizarrely good movie.
A Capella in a cool way. Can't waiiit!

And, in the middle of downloading the series "HUGE", I got curious with what Nikky Blonsky doing recently.
So, I looked up on Google.
Aaaaand, I found this amazing news.
So, she will be taking a part in this upcoming movies called "Geography Club" (2013).
It is an adaption from Brent Hartinger novel with the same title.

The initial story is pretty much the same like The Perks or another teenage rebellious storyline.
There is this guy name Russel who is the outcast at his school.
Secretly, he is gay, too.
So he and his best friend, Min, who is also a lesbian, make this club called Geography Club to gather some of his friends who are having the same problem like them. Being pushed to hide their true sexual orientation.

From what I read on Wikipedia, this story have a strong potential to be huge too, (if they making it in the right --not too cheesy and predictable--kinda way).

Just like the Perks.
And, I can't wait to see Justin Deeley from 90210 being gay. ;p

Cameron Dean Stewart from Pitch Perfect
will be Russel.
Justin Deeley will be Kevin.
Can't wait!!

All pictures were taken from Google. For fun and personal use only.

That's it.
See you!

STYLE CRUSH: Dye in Blue

Okay, honestly, my wildest "hair do" dream is to dye my hair blue.
Some of my friends told me to go for it.
But, I don't think that's the wise idea.
As long as I live under the same roof with my mom, I don't think I can do that.
Hahaha.
Yes, if I do dye my hair..and go back home..and my mom sees it..
She will be like..aarrggghhhh..screaming crazily..spank my butt and kick me out of the house.
And I will be homeless just coz I dye my hair blue.
Crazy, right?
So, before I can turn my dream to reality, it's best if I look at these fabulous celebrities who rock the color blue.

Portfolio Daaaaaay!!

In my very very very spare time, I decided to make some articles for my portfolio.
They're mostly about fashion and popular culture, the theme which I love the most.
And...because I'm no good at using Photoshop, so I edited the whole page in Microsoft Word.
But, I'm having a huge fun time and I'm proud of the results.
Take a look. ^^

 PS:
All pictures aren't mine. I looked all up on Google.
 These use for non-commercial purpose.

Bye!

Try to Do Something Useful, While I'm being Hopelessly Unemployed!!

It's been 2 weeks since I resigned from my job.
Hahaha.
Hahaha.
Hahaha.
Deep down, I enjoy it.
But, when someone ask me, I get anxious ans super uncomfortable.
Especially when you are being labelled as an "unemployed" person.
That sucks.

But, I have a chance to go back to my roots, though.
Which is stuck in front of my laptop.
Browsing TV series, reading gossips, searching for fashion news.
Really useless.
But I miss doing those useless things.
Hahaha.

So, I find myself finding these nice things while I'm being useless in front of my laptop.

First,
I got obsessed (again) with these two British guys who are currently playing characters in US TV series.
So, they have to kindda hide their accent, right?
But, when their accent come out, uggghhhhh.
Fangirling mode on.
Hahahaha.
I just find it so sexy when guys can play around with a lot of accents.

The first guy is Daniel Sharman.
He plays the character Isaac Lahey in Teen Wolf Season 2.
Isaac was got beaten by his father, so he actually felt hopeless about his life.
Then, he was turned into a werewolf.
And now, he got more power to stand up for himself.

From Tumblr.

The second guy is Ryan Cartwright.
(I thought he has a relation with Rianty Cartwright, hahahaha)
I know, I know, I am so lame coz I just find his excellent acting just now.
Well, don't blame me, though.
I didn't follow Bones, so I'm kindda missed seeing him in it.
I just found him in this interesting underrated TV series for Sy-Fy channel called "Alphas".
It is about a bunch of people with great ability and super power.
Ryan played Gary Bell, an autistic, funny, witty, OCD kindda guy who can play around with electro waves, internet, and technology or something.
The acting was so natural, that I love him instantly.

From here.

Second,
I am so fucking impressed with these YG artists these days.
They kindda like stepping up the fashion bar to the top.
Waiit, I just wanna use this word....DOPE!!
Hahahaha.
I just saw GD's new video called CRAYON and the fashion was like....
Aw-freacking-some!!!
#Get your crayooon, get your crayooon. Why so serious??
I want GD's hair cut, jacket, tank top, baggy pants, all those crazy prints, and huge accessories.

I also find some videos of 2NE1 in USA.
Yes, the girls have been in USA these past two months.
And they are making their fashion statement in USA by joining Jeremy Scott (again) for a cool photoshoot.
They are really can pull everything off.
Yeaaaah!!

Third,
Fall is coming.
A lot of new TV shows that I'm excited about.
Revolution and Elementary caught my eyes.
Awkward. is awesome. (Though I hope Ashley Rickards will wear less make up off screen : p)
Glee is back, but, honestly, not too excited.
Criminal Minds will be back soon. (Without Prentiss though. T.T)
The Voice is back. (Love Black and Adam's war)
The X Factor US is back. (The first episode is definitely boring!!)
And The Amazing Race will be back in Sept., 30th. (They are back to Indonesia, Yaaaaay!!!)
So, my eyes are full.
Can't wait to have a blast downloading those shows.

From here, here.

Fourth,
Fall in love with Mary Katrantzou's Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear Collection.
Those prints, those sharp collar, those pencil skirt, those loose dress.
Uh-Mazing.
Get me one puhleaaase!!

That's it.
